In alliance with the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, the Cortés Foundation has developed special projects to complement the offer of La Campechada, a multidisciplinary arts event that seeks to educate about the arts and humanities in public spaces accessible to all. La Campechada uses as a starting point the life and work of different world-renowned Puerto Rican artists, including the life and work of José Campeche, Francisco Oller, Rafael Tufiño, Myrna Báez, Rafael Ríos Rey, Elizam Escobar, Eugenio María de Hostos and Abelardo Diaz.
